Here’s what’s included in the online demonstration course
With this online gift-wrapping course, you will learn how to wrap presents in the following styles:
- Gift wrapping a bottle with tissue paper and cellophane. Finished with a satin ribbon bow and a decorative cherry-pick.
This is a great technique to gift wrap wine bottles, fragrances, gift wrap balls and odd shaped items. It can also be used to gift wrap round tins!
- Making a gift bag out of our signature Rainbow Trees wrapping paper. Complimented with a crossover bow from red satin ribbon.
Such a versatile style! The gift wrap bag is great for bulkier clothes, odd-shaped gifts like teddy bears, balls and so much more. If it’s an odd shape, it goes in a gift bag wrap.
- An Eco Friendly, Kraft paper, basic pleated gift sleeve. Naturally finished with dried slices of orange, lime, apples and cinnamon sticks with twine.
Gift sleeves are perfect for books, light clothing and any small gifts that are not in a box and become too fiddly to gift wrap. A very common style in our studio.
- Homemade Christmas wrapping paper by children. Getting creative with sentimental handprints and making potato stamps. Finished with red chunky yarn and some mini baubles.
If you run out of wrapping paper or want to use less, this tutorial has the solution for you. This paper goes on to gift wrap a board game but tricking us into thinking we don’t have enough paper. Well, we do and we you how.
Using the techniques shown in the Free Standard Wrap and Ribbon tutorial, will also allow you to grasp these styles with ease. If you’d like to learn more, our full set of wrapping tutorials teaches, 10 tutorials with 21 finishing styles for a box.
Tools and Materials
The tools and material used in each tutorial will be highlighted at the beginning of the video. For gift wrapping tutorials, we highly recommend practising with Kraft paper or newspaper to avoid wasting the nice paper. With bows, we recommend practising with some satin ribbon, it’s easily available and cost effective. With everything else, please don’t stress in getting everything the same as us. Some tools will be need for the styles and the material will make a difference to the final creation. However, as long as you use your creative imagination, we are sure it will look beautiful when finished.
Ways to apply your learning
When it comes to being creative, the opportunities are endless. These tutorials give you the foundations to create beautiful gifts however it doesn’t stop there. We want you to use your creative imagination and practice it adding your own twist. Use different colours, positioning, perhaps try eco-friendly options, like we said, the opportunities are endless. We make up lots of styles as we go along, some are a disaster, and some are beautiful creations. The beautiful creations are then mastered and taught through our workshops.

More about the Mentor
We love teaching our crafting skills, but we know we cannot always teach face to face. Having creatives miss out wasn’t an option for us, so we introduced online courses in 2019.
We started with the Free Online Gift-Wrapping tutorial which has been accessed around the globe by hundreds of people. From there, we continued to build our online school with different types of gift-wrapping tutorials. In recent years we have been creating more online courses for handmade gifts which have also proved to be just as popular.
Training is a huge passion of ours, and we enjoy experimenting with different styles until we have mastered the technique. Giving detailed tutorials is a must, and we record our courses to be followed easily by all levels of crafters. We have more planned for the coming year and can’t wait to share them all with you.
Providing a great customer service is extremely important to us and your feedback is very valuable. Please do leave us a Google review once you complete your online tutorial. Should anything not be to your satisfaction, please do email us so we can put it right for you.
What is Rainbow Christmas?
Here’s our Rainbow Christmas Campaign video to inspire you with more gift wrapping ideas for this Christmas. The Rainbow theme will continue this year in honour of all the Rainbow Babies and in remembrance of all the angel babies.
Rainbows are so beautiful to see and have been very popular these last two years with thanking the NHS and all the keyworkers for serving the community throughout the pandemic. We hope Covid-19 passes soon and we are once again, blessed with a new rainbow and a new chapter.
Dedicated to all the rainbow babies out there. Rainbow Christmas reminds us to keep hope, no storm will last forever.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas in advance
